Delivery Policy and Returns Policy
- Product Availability and Delivery
1.1. The products displayed on the LiteSource website are subject to availability. We strive to maintain accurate stock levels; however, there may be instances where certain products become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you promptly and provide suitable alternatives if available.
1.2. LiteSource offers free door-to-door delivery by economy road freight to all major centers in South Africa on orders over R450. Orders under R450 will attract a delivery charge of R95.
1.3. For outlying areas, the calculated delivery charge may vary. LiteSource will contact you by email to notify you of any changes to the delivery charge before finalizing your order.
1.4. The estimated delivery time for metro areas is between 2 to 5 working days, while outlying areas may take 3 to 7 working days for delivery.
1.5. Some products are manufactured to order, and their delivery may require between 7 and 10 working days. This information will be clearly indicated on the product page, as well as during the selection of shipping options.
1.6. Free delivery is applicable only to online orders placed through the LiteSource website.
- Delivery Process
2.1. Once your order is processed and ready for dispatch, you will receive a notification with the tracking details, if applicable. You can use the provided tracking information to monitor the progress of your delivery.
2.2. LiteSource will make reasonable efforts to deliver the products within the estimated timeframes. However, please note that delivery times may vary depending on factors beyond our control, such as supplier delays or unforeseen circumstances during transit.
- Signature and Inspection
3.1. Upon delivery, it is important to ensure that someone is available at the specified delivery address to sign for the received goods. The person receiving the delivery may be required to provide identification as proof of receipt.
3.2. It is the responsibility of the recipient to thoroughly inspect the delivered products for any visible signs of damage or discrepancies. If any issues are identified, please notify the delivery personnel immediately and document the details accordingly.
- Returns and Exchanges
4.1. Returns of goods supplied in accordance with the purchaser's order can only be accepted with LiteSource's consent. Any returns must be initiated within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery.
4.2. To request a return or exchange, please contact our LiteSource customer service team at (087) 073-5792 or email us at sales@litesource.co.za. Our customer service team will guide you through the return process and provide you with the necessary instructions.
4.3. Returns must meet the following criteria:
- The returned item(s) must be in their original condition, unopened, and unused.
- The returned item(s) must be accompanied by the original packaging and any included accessories or documentation.
- The return must include a copy of the original proof of purchase.
4.4. In the event of a return or exchange, the Purchaser is responsible for arranging and covering the expenses associated with the return shipment, including any handling or delivery fees charged by suppliers and LiteSource. Please ensure that the returned goods are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
4.5. LiteSource does not accept returns of items that have been correctly delivered and are in good working order more than 10 days after the date of delivery. We encourage you to thoroughly inspect and test the products upon receipt to ensure their satisfactory condition.
4.6. Once the returned item(s) are received and inspected by LiteSource, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If approved, we will process the refund or exchange according to our refund policy.
4.7. Refunds or exchanges for returned items will be processed in accordance with our Returns policy and the terms and conditions outlined.
